Originally from Quito, Ecuador, Javier’s background spans ballet, bachata, salsa and ballroom. A former South American youth champion in Latin dance, he brings both performance experience and a love of social dancing to his work.
As the founder of Nashville Dance City, Bachata Vibes USA and Salsa Vibes USA, Javier creates spaces where dancers can learn, connect and grow.
Beyond private lessons and local classes, Javier teaches at dance congresses and brings his students along to learn, dance and connect with the wider dance community. His relationships with some of the leading salsa and bachata congress organizers in the United States help connect Nashville dancers with opportunities beyond their city.
Javier also champions emerging artists. He looks for promising talent and collaborates with up-and-coming dancers, creating opportunities for them to share their skills and showcase their talent within his Nashville dance community.
